Our Why
Birth is not a service.
It’s not a trend. It’s a deeply human, deeply personal experience. And it deserves care that is rooted in presence, trust, and real relationship.
Embrace was created from the belief that every birthing person deserves to feel supported, respected, and heard, not just by their provider, but by the people walking closest to them.
We are a team of doulas, educators, and care providers committed to that kind of care.
We serve families through birth, postpartum, lactation, and the tender transitions in between, not with an agenda or a script, but with attention, education, and calm, connected presence.
What We Stand For
We believe care should be
Client-led
We center the family’s voice, not our own. Every person we support is the expert on their body, their baby, and their values. We walk beside them with information, compassion, and trust.
Inclusive and judgment-free
We support births in hospitals, homes, and birth centers. We support inductions, cesareans, epidurals, and unmedicated labors. We serve all family structures, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and feeding journeys. Our job is not to shape a family’s choices. It’s to make sure they’re supported in them.
Holistic but grounded
We offer care that is both intuitive and evidence-based. We honor birth as a sacred rite of passage, and we also know how to read a study, refer out when necessary, and support decisions that don’t follow a particular philosophy.
Sustainable, for everyone involved
We believe the people who care for families deserve to be cared for, too. That means supporting our doulas through mentorship, fair compensation, continuing education, and a team-based model that makes the work sustainable long-term.

You’ll be matched with a primary doula based on availability, location, and your unique needs, but every member of our team shares the same commitment to client-centered care.
Each doula brings their own lived experience, training, and personality to this work. What we all share is a deep respect for the birth process, and for the people who go through it.
